Happy Valentine's Day!

or as others call it "SINGLE's AWARENESS DAY"
Yeah it's a Hallmark made-up holiday but I can't hate because if you weren't single you would partake in the festivities too and receiving flowers, chocolates and sweet little notes always bring a smile to my face.

To celebrate I went to see the last show of the Ballet "Giselle" at the SF Opera on Sunday night. I started the festivities early. It was fun to get dolled up and support the arts. Giselle and the main dancer who played her was such a lovely act. It reminded me of why I love dance and how it's a passion of mine. Loved seeing the Ballerina's footwork and how they move with such grace. I never practiced ballet as a child but I can greatly appreciate their skill and timing since this ballet had dancers of all ages. It kind of got me thinking how about if I had picked dance as my profession? For my next show I want to see "Black Swan."

My Valentine and date my sister Kati
Here is a lil' something that sums up the day of LOV3 and FRIENDSHIP  for me. I heard it in "Blue Valentine" and instantly fell in love. It is such a lovely movie filled with pain for love and heartbreak all at once and Ryan Gosling was the perfect actor for it. I'm in love with him. And the cool story behind this track is that it was an undiscovered tune played in someone's garage/home studio. That's why it has an unfinished tone to it. I love how it's in Vinyl!
