I enrolled in a eight week Portuguese class!!!!
This was the first week of classes and I couldn't be happier than to be sitting back in a classroom. Learning a new language has been on my to-do list every year but this year I finally decided to actually go through with it! It's part of my self-help 2010 New Years resolution.
After traveling to Brazil back in the Summer of 2004. I fell in love with the language. It's similarity to Spanish attracted me to it's sound and I love its romantic flair. I previously traveled to Recife, Pernambuco and Salvador, Bahia on the Southeast Coast. I plan to go back soon but this time speaking the language. Plans are in motion for the World Cup 2014, if not sooner! But come May of this year I should be on my way to falando portugues and becoming a trilingual!
