Picture from our unplanned Sandal day at work with my bestest (L:Nory, M:Me, R:Susy)
With the first
Official day of Spring here. I needed to update my sandal collection which I overwore all last spring and summer. I had spotted some nice Snake Print Sandals at Macy's the week before I headed down to LA over the weekend for my sisters Spring Break and had put the idea out of my head. I thought I would have a better chance of finding more sandals in sunny SoCal. Well the truth is that I didn't do much shopping while I was in LA, which can be a good thing. My biggest purchase on this trip was an American Apparel sweatshirt at one of their Factory Outlets, while walking on the Venice Boardwalk. It was surprisingly cold, even for a native San Franciscan who barely gets to experience real summer's. I was cold at the beach in my sheer light sweater and denim shorts. WTF I thought you never needed a sweater in LA! Moreover that I had to actually purchase a sweatshirt because my light sweater wasn't quite fit for the weather. Aside from the AA sweatshirt, all I purchased was some belly rings at my favorite spot on the boardwalk (Shout out to Moses Jewelry for hooking me up) and some $7.99 aviators. I am still on the hunt to invest in a good pair of sunglasses for this coming summer since all mine have either broke or the screw has fell off of one of the legs. Booo! I need to take better care of my sunglasses!
During my recent visit to Macy's these are some of the sandals I found. I ended up picking the Snake Print ones, but now I might be reconsidering the cute leopard ones, since leopard is one of my fave prints this season!

While at Macy's I also stopped at the Juniors/Impulse section to see if I could find any cute spring dress to go with my sandals, but not too much luck there. Just a couple of basics I picked out but didn't purchase. I always tell myself I'll just sleep on it. If I don't think about that particular piece of clothing the next day, than I didn't really want it to begin with.

MinkPink Top I had seen online but after trying it on I wasn't too fond of it
And because it was Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's I couldn't miss the opportunity for a threesome with Ben & Jerry and my favorite Strawberry flavored scoop on a Sugar Cone!
Yay for Free Cone Day!
