My recent adventure took me down the beautiful California coast to the City of Angels or what I recently discovered full name is, "El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina de Los Angeles de Porcicuncula." Which loosely translates to "The town of our Lady Queen of Los Angeles of Porcicuncula." My partner-in-crime and myself headed down this 6-hour road trip on a quest to pick up my sister Alessandra for her spring break.
We left right afterwork on Friday afternoon and got into LA at exactly 10:30 pm. We were on a mission like Thelma & Louise down the I-5, thanks to Susy's speedy driving. We only stopped once for gas and snacks, nothing like beef jerky to curb hunger. On the road we had some of the best conversations about life and everything in it. Definitely fortunate to have a friend like Susy.
Though the weekend went by quick I was able to catch up with my best-friend Cecy and have a Beach Day! We also got our favorite Salad Pizza from Abott Kinney in Venice! And had a yummy dinner with my other LA friends, Karina and Rhianne. We did encounter some car problems with Cecy's car overheating so she wasn't able to join us for dinner. Luckily everything got resolved quick.
